Any rice with low GI is welcome. But how low ? Marginally low does not make any sense or difference. If the GI of ARISE is lower than 50, then only it makes any sense. The company has cleverly disguised the GI value of the rice from its websites or advertisements. How does it compare with the competitor MOOLGIRI RICE? Willbe glad to know the GI value of ARISE.

Terrific work! This is the type of information that should be shared around the web. Shame on the search engines for not positioning this post higher!

An endless number of people who were having obesity problems have benefited after they have started consuming foods that are on the low glycemic index food list. All the foods that release sugar in a slow and gradual manner into our bloodstream are given different index values in the low glycemic food group. But any food item that releases sugar quickly into the bloodstream will have a high glycemic index value.

It may be real break through item/ product, but i have been a somewhat skeptical about the brands brought out by saffola more so the health food items. This has more to do with saffola salt which is low sodium salt. Going back to our high school classes, we all know common salt is NaCl, so lessening sodium would mean changing the whole compound or changing nature. The next thing we know, we will have Butter without Saturated Fat (God knows if its really butter).
