Google Nexus One-Will it bite the Apple ?

So here it is finally,The Google Phone.Google has named it Nexus One.From past one or two days i was seeing this on many Google ads on different sites including mine.
So whats the offering ? Is it just another ‘me-too’ touch phone in the market or is it THE phone we had been waiting for ?
If it has Google’s name attached to it,it ought to be good.The initial reviews are good.

Analysts say the phone(to be sold directly to consumers) is not expected to dramatically alter the carrier-hardware vendor relationship the industry relies on, nor is it likely to yield a revenue…

PC vs MAC ! The War continues post Windows 7 !

Finally the much awaited Windows 7 is out.The reviews are good,ratings are high.Microsoft didn’t leave any stone unturned for the BIG launch.There were ads,conferences,free copies for developers etc etc
Lets have a look at this commercial of Windows 7 which came much before its release.

Just give attention to words the kid says in the end ,” I am a PC and more happy is coming !”
This reminded me the ever going war between PC and MAC depicted mostly in the PC Vs MAC ads from APPLE.

Gmail or Yahoo Mail – Who’s Supreme ?

I was talking to my dad 2 days back that he should switch to gmail now.He said he is happy with yahoo. I told all use gmail these days.He said,”i dont think so”.So we thought why not just check out the stats. So we started googling relevant articles on it.Then i found out this link on hitwise which consists of all the major website stats on net.
The ranks of mails were as follows
1. Yahoo Mail
2. Hotmail/Windows Live
3. Gmail
4. AOL
Gmail was far behind Yahoo Mail.Google as a website is number one in the world but Gmail is not even close.

Have you googled on Bing yet ?

Recently we heard the news that Microsoft and Yahoo entered a pact for next 10 years for search engine integration.Basically MS wants to aggressively market its new search engine Bing and Yahoo could be of great help.
In the search engine market,google sits supreme with 65% market share.Yahoo and MS (bing) currently share 28% of market share.Rest of the search engines like askjeeves.com,dogpile,AOL etc etc take whats left.
